Killer Hiding Out In New Jersey Town, Prosecutor Says [VIDEO]
A prosecutor has asked for the public's help in finding a killer who he says is "skulking through" and hiding out in a New Jersey town.

A prosecutor has asked for the public's help in finding a killer who he says is "skulking through" and hiding out in a New Jersey town.
The victim was identified as Colby Rodgers, 31, of Mount Laurel and was pronounced dead at the scene. His death was declared a homicide following the Willingboro murder, officials said.
“Law abiding members of the public do not want a murderer skulking through their neighborhoods,” Burlington County Prosecutor Robert D. Bernardi said in a release. “Somebody out there has information that can help us take this killer off the streets. Please work with us to make sure justice is served.”

Bernardi and Willingboro Township Public Safety Director Gregory Rucker have asked any members of the public who have information about a fatal shooting on Woodhaven Lane in Willingboro earlier this month to contact investigators as they continue to search for the "killer."
On April 15, the Willingboro Township Police Department received a call at approximately 3:15 a.m. reporting that shots were fired in that area. Upon arrival, officers found an adult male with multiple gunshot wounds inside a car parked on the street in the first block of Woodhaven Lane, according to the prosecutor.

The investigation is being conducted by detectives from the Willingboro Township Police Department and the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office.
In January 2014, a video (see below) showed Rodgers allegedly taking watches worth about $26,000 from a display case at a TJ Maxx store in Evesham. The video showed the robber being tackled by a U.S. Air Force officer who had accompanied his wife to the Route 73 store, according to The Courier-Post.
Authorities said Rodgers broke free, but dropped the watches and his mask. DNA evidence from the mask led to Rodgers' arrest in Camden in March 2015, according to the report.
Anyone with information about this crime or the suspect is asked to call the Willingboro Township Police Department tip line at (609) 877-6958 or Burlington County Central Communications at (609) 267-8300.
