Landfill Employee From Cinnaminson Stole $665 From Drivers: Cops
Authorities said Craig Schoenberger lied about the amount of waste that was dropped off at the facility so he could pocket the money.

CINNAMINSON, NJ - A Cinnaminson man responsible for accepting payments from trash haulers at the Burlington County Landfill has been charged with pocketing $665 in cash over the last year, authorities announced on Thursday.
Craig Schoenberger, 47, has been charged by summons with one count of third-degree theft by unlawful taking, Burlington County Prosecutor Scott Coffina and Burlington County Sheriff Jean E. Stanfield announced.
Schoenberger, who worked as a weighmaster at the landfill, lied about the amount of waste being taken into the facility in an attempt to hide the fact that he was pocketing the money he was collecting from drivers, according to authorities.

An initial appearance will be scheduled soon in Superior Court. The case will then be prepared for presentation to a Burlington County Grand Jury for possible indictment.
The investigation was conducted by the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office’s Special Investigations Unit, with assistance from the Burlington County Sheriff’s Department. The lead investigator was Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office Det. Timothy Van Fossen.
