Here are the latest local updates on how the coronavirus outbreak is impacting Cinnaminson.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — The new coronavirus outbreak in New Jersey and across the nation is having vast impacts in Cinnaminson, including the closure of schools and many businesses.

Cinnaminson also saw its first fatality related to coronavirus this week. An 87-year-old Cinnaminson woman died after testing positive for new coronavirus, Burlington County officials announced on Wednesday. A 45-year-old Riverside man died on the same day.

As of Thursday, there were 299 cases of new coronavirus in Burlington County, including six in Cinnaminson. There are nine fatalities in the county altogether.

There are more than 25,000 cases in New Jersey as of Thursday, and 537 people have died as a result of COVID-19.

BUSINESS

SCHOOLS
All schools in New Jersey remain closed in response to the new coronavirus outbreak, state officials said. MORE.

Federal social distancing restrictions remain at least until April 30, and the state is expected to provide additional guidance by April 17.

Registration for kindergarten in the Cinnaminson Public School District will now take place by appointment only.

TRASH COLLECTION

Republic Serviceshas notified the township that it will continue to provide services on its regular schedule, despite being impacted by the outbreak of new coronavirus. This includes bulk trash collection.

DONATIONS
Burlington County is accepting PPE donations from residents and businesses to help combat the outbreak of new coronavirus. Donations are accepted seven days a week at 60 Academy Drive in Westampton, NJ, 08060.
