CINNAMINSON, NJ — The new coronavirus outbreak in New Jersey and across the nation is having vast impacts in Cinnaminson, including the closure of schools and many businesses.

Even as cases of the coronavirus increase across the state, Cinnaminson saw its first three residents cleared from quarantine this week.

As of Thursday, 894 positive cases of new coronavirus had been reported in Burlington County, with 24 deaths and 69 residents cleared from quarantine. Cinnaminson has 23 cases, with one fatality and three cleared from quarantine.

Republic Services has told township officials that their services might experience additional delays as the trash company has been hit hard by the coronavirus. Residents can contact Republic Services at 856-234-4000 or the Public Works Department at 856-829-6000, ext. 2356 for any additional information.

BURLINGTON COUNTY TO HOLD PRIMARY BALLOT DRAWING ONLINE

The legally required ballot drawing for this year's primary elections in Burlington County will be done via Facebook Live at 3 p.m. on Thursday. On Wednesday, Gov. Phil Murphy announced that the primary election for New Jersey has been moved to July 7. It had been scheduled for June 2. Burlington County Clerk Joanne Schwartz is encouraging all voters to apply to vote by mail in time for the Primary Election to avoid potential crowding at polling places on Election Day.
