Lineup Set for Riverton Independence Day Events

Cinnaminson will participate in Riverton’s Independence Day Parade, set for Saturday, July 4.

The day begins with the Bill Oliver 5K and 1 Mile Run for Fun.

The 5K begins at 8:30 a.m. Pre-registration is $10. Registration the day of the race is $20.

The 1 Mile Run for Fun begins at 9:30 a.m. Registration is $5.

The parade begins at 10 a.m. No registration is required to participate, and a $100 award goes to the float with the most creative, original theme. All participants must be on the riverbank by 9:30 a.m. to participate.

The National Anthem and awards ceremony follows the parade at 11:30 a.m.

Other events include the Joe Zaneski Downhill Race, the Pet Pageant at Riverton Memorial Park, and raft and canoe races.
