She remains in the Burlington County Correction Work Release Center on $75,000 full bail.

Joseph Gorski was captured in San Miguel, El Salvador by the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force on Aug. 25.

He had flown into the country from Mexico City, Mexico, where he went after crossing the border from California.

“I am extremely appreciative of the assistance we received from the multiple agencies involved in this manhunt,” Bernardi said. “Once again, the U.S. Marshals have demonstrated their superior ability to chase down and capture those who attempt to evade prosecution. The cooperation and effective actions taken by everybody involved with this case allowed us to reach onto another continent and pull back a defendant who fled to avoid being held accountable for unspeakable crimes against a child.”

The investigation into the sexual assault charges originated after the victim told a friend about the sexual abuse. The abuse began when the victim was age six and continued for seven years.
