Man Arrested In Cinnaminson Home Burglary: Police

He was arrested after police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area of Wayne Drive Wednesday morning.

CINNAMINSON, NJ - A Pennsauken man was arrested following a home burglary in Cinnaminson Wednesday morning, police said. Solomon M. Jones, 36, was charged with burglary, theft and possession of marijuana after police responded to a report of a suspicious person in the area of Wayne Drive just before 11 a.m.

Sgt. Dennis Vittese responded to the area, where he saw a man coming out of a backyard, police said. When the man noticed the sergeant, he dropped a jewelry box into a storm drain. Through an investigation, Jones was identified as the man, and that he had broken into a home on Boxwood Drive, police said.

Police said they then found Jones with more stolen property and marijuana. Jones was arrested and remanded to Burlington County Jail, where he is awaiting a detention hearing. Anyone with further information is asked to contact Cinnaminson Detectives at 856-829-7722.
