Man Plead Guilty To Heroin Possession, Skipped Sentencing: Prosecutor

Steven Pressley skipped his Aug. 11 sentencing date, police said.

Steven J. Pressley, 35, of Wenonah, is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear in Superior Court, Woodbury on Aug. 11 for sentencing on a charge of possession of heroin. He is 5’10,” 180 pounds, with brown eyes and brown hair. His image is attached to this post.

Pressley was arrested while attempting to run from police during a traffic stop in Deptford at 2:49 a.m. on Feb. 28, 2016. He was a passenger in a car that was stopped on Carteret Avenue, and threw a bag over a fence while he was running, police said. Pressley was arrested, and police found the bag containing 11 wax folds of suspected heroin.

On Feb. 24 of this year, Pressley pleaded guilty to third-degree possession of a controlled dangerous substance. The sentence to be recommended was probation, 364 days in county jail and suspension of driver’s license for between six months and two years.
