Manhunt After Teen Shot In Broad Daylight In South Jersey: Cops

The 15-year-old was shot multiple times in Camden on Tuesday.

A 15-year-old boy was fatally shot in broad daylight in Camden on Tuesday, authorities announced.

Camden County Police found the boy on Euclid Avenue lying on the ground suffering from multiple gunshot wounds, according to Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson.

Police had been responding to a ShotSpotter activation in the area of the 1500 block of Princess Avenue at about 3:36 p.m.

He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased as a result of his injuries at about 4:45 p.m.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests had been made as of late Wednesday morning.
