Manhunt Follows String Of Burlington County Burglaries: Police
Tyree Taylor was caught breaking into a car, stole another car, crashed it and fled on foot early Saturday morning, police said.

EVESHAM TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are asking for the public’s help to find a man who fled police after he was caught attempting to break into a car in Evesham Township.
Tyree Taylor, 21 of Camden, was in the act of burglarizing a vehicle when he was startled by an Evesham Township police officer who was on patrol early Saturday morning, police said.
Taylor fled on foot and got into a stolen car, police said. An ensuing chase ended when Taylor crashed the car, but escaped on foot into the woods.

The officer responded to the scene after Taylor was caught on surveillance video attempting to break into a home on Justice Drive in the Ravenscliff development, police said.
He has also been charged in connection with a series of car burglaries in the Ravenscliff and Woodstream developments that took place that morning, police said. He was identified following an investigation involving federal law enforcement, as well as law enforcement in Burlington and Camden counties.

Taylor has been charged with two counts of eluding, third-degree criminal attempt burglary and third-degree possession of stolen property. His current whereabouts are unknown, and he has been entered into a National Database as a wanted person.
