Metal Piece Found In Mansfield Trick-Or-Treater's Halloween Candy
Police said a child found a long, thin piece of metal inside a candy bar when she was going through her Halloween candy.

MANSFIELD, NJ — Police are urging parents to check their child's Halloween candy after a piece of metal was found in a Mansfield trick-or-treater's candy bar.
Police were called to a Mansfield home on Friday by a parent who said her child went trick-or-treating in the Mapleton community on Halloween.
When the child was going through her candy, the parent said she noticed a slit in the wrapper of a Twix candy bar. Inside the candy bar, the child found a long, thin piece of metal, police said.

Police took possession of the candy bar and are investigating the incident.
"If anyone knows or hears anything, please do not hesitate to report it to us," police said. "As a reminder, please check your candy and report anything suspicious."
