Football Hall of Famer David Robinson to Speak at NAACP Event in Cinnaminson

Moorestown High School alum and NFL Hall of Famer David Robinson will be the guest speaker at the NACCP’s Greater Delaware Valley Chapter’s Freedom Fund Banquet Sept. 27, noon-4 p.m., the Burlington County Times reports.

The banquet will be held at The Merion in Cinnaminson.

The event recognizes people “who have gone above and beyond in their duties to their communities,” according to the report.

Others being honored include Reverend Danny E. Scotton, of Willingboro, and a retired police captain and a Pemberton Councilwoman, according to the report.
