RIVERTON, NJ — A man listed as Boston's "most wanted" rape suspect — charged with four courts of the offense — was arrested Wednesday in Burlington County, officials said.

Grady Dunbar was apprehended during a pedestrian stop near Riverton station on the River Line. He had been listed among Boston's most wanted since late June.

Dunbar was wanted in Boston for an incident that occurred last October, according to a spokesperson for the Suffolk County District Attorney's Office in Massachusetts. Two days later, he was arraigned in Boston Municipal Court.

He was charged with four counts of rape and one count each of drug possession, threat to commit a crime, resisting arrest, and assault and battery on a family member or household member. Dunbar also failed to appear in court last February, when a warrant was issued, authorities said.

It's unclear when or for how long Dunbar may have been incarcerated in Massachusetts.

During Wednesday's pedestrian stop, Riverton police determined that Dunbar gave them false information. Officers then identified Dunbar as the Boston Police Department's most wanted suspect for rape.

Dunbar also shoplifted from CVS in Riverton, police said. He was charged with shoplifting, obstructing law, hindering apprehension and being a fugitive of justice.

He was placed in the Burlington County Jail.
