MUD, SWEAT and CHEERS - muddy and successful!

Under wet and rainy skies, Mud, Sweat, and Cheers took place in Riverton Memorial Park on October 11.

MUD, SWEAT, and CHEERS, an obstacle race, including a slog through the mud of the creek was a great success!

The event, organized by Tom Shaw of Riverton and New York City, attracted over 200 adult and children participants,  Spectators cheered as runners, some in costume, cleared the haymaker, climbed obstacles, slogged through rotten pumpkin guts, crawled through hanging sneakers,  and conquered the muddy trails along the Pompeston Creek.
