New 13-U Baseball Team That Includes Cinnaminson Players Looks to Take South Jersey by STORM!

A 13-U Travel/Tournament team made up of players from Cinnaminson, Delran and Palmyra/Riverton started its inaugural season on Sunday, March 29 at Riverton Memorial Park.
The South Jersey Storm Baseball team is made up of boys from the neighboring townships and coached by Rich Travers from Cinnaminson, Jeff Kuhn from Palmyra and Mike McNinney of Delran.
An early lead gave the South Jersey Storm a victory over the SJ Stingrays, 14-4 in six innings. The Storm benefitted from a nine-run explosion in the third inning.

Jack Terifay looked sharp on the mound, keeping the Stingrays scoreless over three innings.
Dylan Semola came in for two strong innings, but the Stingrays managed to get their only runs against him. Eddie Probst came in to finish them off with a 1,2,3 6th inning.

The Storm looked good at the plate and on the bases, with notable hits from Jack Terifay, Kieran Dowdy and the “Twin Towers” Ryan and Michael McNinney.
The South Jersey Storm will be playing in the T.S.E. League and traveling throughout South Jersey and Philadelphia for games and tournaments.
The South Jersey Storm played in Florence Township on Sunday, April 12, and will return home on Sunday, April 19, against the Bucks County Legends.
