New Equipment Obtained By Cinnaminson Police Department

Cinnaminson was fortunate to obtain two new patrol cars, the township administrator tells Patch.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — New gear and new police vehicles were recently obtained by the Cinnaminson Police Department, according to the township's administrator

"Law enforcement agencies across the nation are enduring supply chain issues which is hampering their ability to purchase new vehicles," Eric Schubiger, Township Administrator, told Patch. "However, Cinnaminson Township was fortunate to find two available vehicles .... [which] will help to ensure that our fleet is prepared to handle our daily call volume."

The township also purchased several new radios, Schubiger said. This was to comply with some requirements the county issued several years ago, he said.

"All law enforcement agencies within Burlington County were issued new radios two years ago when Burlington County upgraded their system," Schubiger said. "After the initial issue, all municipalities were obligated to purchase additional radios if damaged and for new officers."

The new radios will "ensure that every Cinnaminson Township officer is equipped with the proper equipment to send and receive vital information that is broadcasted from the Burlington County Communications center," he said.
