New Jersey American Water Flushing Water in Cinnaminson

Cinnaminson, NJ -- New Jersey American Water is flushing its water distribution throughout its distribution area, including Cinnaminson, through May 14. Flushing began on Monday.

Flushing will take place from 8 a.m.-10 p.m. to ensure customers receive high quality water service, according to a statement from the company posted on the Cinnaminson NJ-Community Connection Facebook page.

Flushing also allows the company to monitor and maintain fire hydrants.

“When crews are working in your area, you may notice reduced pressure or discolored water,” the company said. “If your water is discolored, wait until it runs clear before using. This should typically take only a few minutes.”
