New President Named For Cinnaminson ShopRite
Geoffrey Eickhoff assumes the position from his father, Karl W. Eickhoff, who will remain as Chief Executive Officer.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Eickhoff's Supermarkets, the operator of ShopRite stores across Burlington County including Cinnaminson, has announced that Geoffrey K. Eickhoff has been promoted to President and Chief Operating Officer for the company. He assumes the position from his father, Karl W. Eickhoff, who will remain as Chief Executive Officer of the family-owned company.
Geoffrey Eickhoff received a bachelor’s degree in food marketing from St. Joseph’s University in 2002, according to a release from the company. He then went to work full-time for the family business. He held a number of management positions with the company before being named Vice President of Operations in 2010. He’s played a key role in recent years in developing and opening the company’s new and remodeled ShopRite stores, and he also serves as lead labor contract negotiator for the company.
“Geoff is unwavering in his pursuit of excellence and customer service, and I have every confidence he will lead this company to continued and future success,” said CEO Karl Eickhoff, a fourth generation grocer who has served Burlington County residents for nearly 50 years. “Geoff also grew up in the business and has strong connections to our stores and the communities where they operate.”

The Eickhoff family opened their first grocery store in Levitttown, PA., in 1955, and went on to open four supermarkets in New Jersey from 1968 to 1993. The family joined the retailer-owned cooperative, Wakefern Food Corp., in 1998. Now, two generations of family members help run the family’s five ShopRite stores in Burlington County. The other ShopRite stores in Burlington County are located in Burlington, Delran, Hainesport and Mt. Laurel-Ark Road.
“I’m very excited to have the opportunity to lead the business forward during a very exciting time in the grocery industry,” said Geoffrey Eickhoff, who lives in Willingboro with his wife Kristy and their three children. “As a family-owned business, we have a long commitment to Burlington County, our associates and our customers, and I’m proud to carry on that tradition.”
