No Smoking: Cinnaminson Bans Smoking at Parks, Township-Owned Land

The genesis of the ban was concern for second hand smoke and litter.

Smoking will soon be illegal at all parks and municipally-owned and operated buildings in Cinnaminson, the Burlington County Times reports.

Cinnaminson Committee approved the ordinance on final reading at its meeting on Aug. 17.

First-time offenders will be subjected to a $250 fine, followed by a $500 fine for second-time offenders and $1,000 fine for each violation within a year after that, according to the report.
