Cinnaminson High School Girls Soccer Team Posts Second Straight Playoff Shutout

Cinnaminson defeated Oakcrest in the quarterfinals on Friday.

Cinnaminson, NJ -- The Cinnaminson High School girls soccer team has yet to allow a goal through two playoff games.

The top-seeded Pirates defeated No. 9 Oakcrest, 4-0, in the quarterfinals of the NJSIAA South Jersey Group 2 playoffs on Friday, according to nj.com.

The victory follows Cinnaminson’s 6-0 win over No. 16 Lower Cape May in the first round.

What's more, Cinnaminson won its last two regular season games by shutout, and has a total of 16 shutouts this season, including a 0-0 tie to open the season.

Against Oakcrest, four different players scored, including Emma Karch, Alex Keck, Miranda Sackner and Lauren Wahl.

Hailey Gutowski, who had a hat trick in the win over Lower Cape May, had three assists against Oakcrest.
Goalie Maddie Ogden made two saves.

Cinnaminson hosts No. 5 Middle Township in the semifinals on Tuesday. The winner will play the winner of the game between No. 2 Haddonfield and No. 3 Deptford on Friday, Nov. 11.
