Orchard Friends to Host "Thank You" Brunch for Local First Responders and Public Servants

If you are a public servant or first responder in our area, please join us on Friday, January 30, 2015.

The students at Orchard Friends School in Riverton are planning a “Thank You!” brunch to celebrate the role local first responders and public servants play in their community. Invitees will include Police, Fire, EMS, Public Works, Municipal, Post Office, Library, Court and School personnel from Riverton, Palmyra, Cinnaminson and surrounding areas. The brunch is scheduled for Friday, January 30, 2015, from 11am - 12:30 pm.

“This brunch is part of the school’s service learning curriculum,” said Bill O’Flanagan, Head of School. “Our students are overcoming language based and other learning differences, so getting involved in our communities is an important part of their growth.” Students will be planning the event, raising funds from local businesses, and serving meals buffet-style to attendees.
