Family fun for everyone at Palmyra Day Festival, Saturday, May 2nd from10:00 - 3:00

I’ve Got the ‘Scoop’!, LLC proudly dedicates Palmyra Day annually to support the Delaware Valley Bichon Rescue in memory of Angel Pepe T… of JT’s Vac and Sew.

Come out and say hello and meet my fellow team members of Tri-boro Cert and find out how you may become a member.

Professor Dan, 5-star Tutor of Palmyra will enlighten you as to how 10% of tutoring fees can be donated to your favorite charity! My wonderful friends at HousePaws Mobile Veterinary Service will also be there and are always excited to share information about their services... from mobile veterinary visits, to ultrasounds and x-rays done in the comfort of your home for your beloved pets, their new service P.E.T.S. - Pet Emergency Transfer Service, and their newest acquisition of the largest and best mobile groomer, Bathing Beauties… along with many other great vendors and local businesses! Posted on Downtown Palmyra’s Facebook page was the following about Palmyra Day:

“The festival will take over Broad Street on Saturday.“We’ve got about 60 vendors with arts and crafts and food, live bands, a gem dig and the local Boy Scout troop will run a ‘Kids Corner’ with games and rides for the children,” Tait said. Some blasts from the past will roll into the borough to take part in an antique and classic car show staged by the Delaware Valley Corvair Club outside the Community Center.

“For those looking for a much larger vehicle, the Independence Fire Co. will offer rides on the company’s new fire truck. “That’s always a big draw,” Tait said. Police plan to stage K-9 demonstrations at 11 a.m. and 2 p.m. at the Bandshell next to Borough Hall. Anyone feeling lucky may want to consider the gem dig. For a donation to the Palmyra Historical Society, attendees will sift through a pile of sand looking for gemstones donated by Anthony’s Jewelers.

“Across the railroad tracks, residents can make a lasting impression by breaking tiles that will be used for a mosaic being created at the Community Center. For those who want to just take it easy, the band Friends, along with students from the School of Rock, will perform live throughout the day. Organizers believe the weekend will offer something for everyone. “I just hope people have fun and really enjoy what we have in town,” Tait said.”
