Park, Infrastructure Improvements In OK'd Cinnnaminson Township Budget

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Cinnaminson Township's approved budget for 2022 totals about $18.9 million and will cover the cost of park, infrastructure and building improvements, the township said.
Specific projects include field lighting and ball field upgrades; road and parking lot resurfacing and stormwater upgrades and replacing the library's roof during Fiscal Year 2022. The township will also buy a dump truck, slope mower and street signs, according to the township.
There will also be no cuts to existing township services and no reductions in township employees, the municipality said.

The objectives of the 2022 budget can all be done without a tax increase, the township also said.
"The municipal component of the local property tax bill remains the same at 61.6 cents per $100 of assessed valuation," the township said. "This means that for the 2022 average residence assessment of $235,000, the 2022 municipal tax is $1,447."

Cinnaminson Township Committee Members approved the 2022 budget on May 16, Eric Schubiger, the township administrator, told Patch.
