UPDATE: Pedestrian Hit and Killed by Train on NJ Transit River Line Identified
The Mount Laurel man may have been running from a nearby crime scene.

The pedestrian who was hit and killed by an NJ Transit train on the River Line around 6:30 a.m. Monday has been identified as 37-year-old Paul Brophy, of Mount Laurel, the Burlington County Times reports.
The accident took place at the Bordentown station, according to the report. Shortly before the accident, a pickup truck crashed parked car and the driver got out and ran toward the train tracks, according to the report.
This coincided with a nearby crime scene in Mansfield, according to the report.

State Police confirmed they were assisting in the crime scene, but provided no further detail, according to the report.
Service between the Roebling and Bordentown stations was suspended, but had been restored by 10 a.m,. according to the report.
