Pedestrian Killed While Walking Along South Jersey Road
A woman was walking along Sunset Road in Burlington Township when she was struck by a car, police said.
BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — A pedestrian was killed after being struck by a car in Burlington Township early Friday morning, police said.
Charmain Williams, 61, of Willingboro, was walking on Sunset Road about 1:15 a.m. when a black Toyota Camry struck her, police said.
Williams was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.

The Camry's driver, who was not identified and not hurt in the accident, remained at the scene and cooperated with authorities, police said.
No charges were announced as of Friday.
