Pemberton Man Charged With Child Luring, Attempted Sexual Assault

MIDDLESEX COUNTY, NJ — A Pemberton man was arrested Monday on charges related to trying to lure a 13-year old girl for sex, according to the Middlesex County Prosecutor’s Office and East Brunswick Police Department.
Kenneth Amy, 55, was charged with luring/enticing a child by various means and attempted sexual assault, the office said in a press release.
Amy is not in prison and was not detained, a spokesperson for the Middlesex County Prosecutor's Office tells Patch.

Amy reportedly responded to an online post from the 13-year-old girl and went to a prearranged meeting site where he believed was meeting her, the press release said.
