Philadelphia Man Charged In Burlington County Shooting: Officials
A man from northeast Philadelphia was indicted on four charges, including attempted murder, for a 2021 shooting in Burlington County.

BURLINGTON COUNTY, NJ —A man from northeast Philadelphia was indicted on four charges, including attempted murder, for a 2021 shooting in Willingboro, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office.
Lamar Johnson, 20, faces charges of attempted murder, possession of a weapon for an unlawful purpose, unlawful possession of a weapon, and aggravated assault, the prosecutor's office said.
Johnson was charged in connection with the shooting of 19-year-old Nasir Phillips of Willingboro, who was inside his car in a shopping center. Investigators said Johnson went to the shopping center when he learned Phillips was there, followed him, and shot him after he got into his car.

Burlington County Sheriff's Department deputies arrested Johnson in Sharon Hill, PA and brought him to Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly.
