Victims ID'd After 2 Bodies Found At South Jersey Apartments: PD
Police are investigating the deaths of a youth football coach and his girlfriend who were found in a South Jersey apartment on Thursday.
BURLINGTON TOWNSHIP, NJ — Police are investigating the deaths of a youth football coach and a mother whose bodies were found in their South Jersey apartment Thursday morning.
Burlington Township police discovered the bodies of 30-year-old Kristopher Corry and 28-year-old Tianna Drummond inside their apartment at the Willow Pointe Apartment complex on Salem Road in Burlington Township Thursday morning.
Corry and Drummond were in a relationship, according to the Burlington County Prosecutor's Office. They weren't married, but they both lived in the apartment in which they were found, authorities said.

A spokesperson for the county prosecutor's office said the case is being investigated as an apparent murder-suicide. The police department was not yet ready to call it that Thursday afternoon.
The Burlington Township Police Department issued an alert earlier in the day saying there is no threat to public safety.

They responded to the scene at about 8:47 Thursday morning, at which time they found the bodies of Corry and Drummond, according to authorities. No one else was inside the apartment when police arrived. They were asked to investigate by a neighbor who requested a wellness check.
Police didn't discuss the manner of death. Autopsies will be performed by Burlington County Medical Examiner Dr. Ian Hood.
Corry was a football coach with the South Jersey Independent Youth Football Association, friends and family told the Burlington County Times. Many posted about their disbelief on social media.
"Loss of words right now," one person wrote in a Facebook post. "Kris Corry was my motivation of what type of coach I want to be. Motivation for the youth and turn the program around to back to back champs. More importantly he was a good person world so cold."
"Rest Peacefully Kris Corry and Tianna Drummond," another wrote.
One person voiced concern about what will happen to the couple's "young kings," while another wrote, "All I can think now is what about the kids."
On Dec. 23, Drummond wrote on social media, "The most important mark I will leave on this world is my son, one of the most amazing kids I know. I don’t think I could have asked for a more perfect son. From your charisma, athleticism and intelligence, you literally put your all into everything you do and I couldn’t be more proud. Having you at such a young age, we’ve literally grown together and I’m so happy you were chosen for me. I love you soooo much. Happy 10th Birthday King."
Drummond had a giving heart. Last November, she started an online fundraiser to help send a youth football team he coached to a national tournament. She named Corry as the beneficiary.
"My heart is hurting and I can’t stop crying while I'm at work," a friend of Drummond's wrote. "I can't believe you are gone Tianna Drummond."
Corry's brother, Julian, was killed in a fight that broke out on a basketball court in Willingboro, according to The New York Times. Darnell Williams pleaded guilty to Corry's death in 2010, according to The Burlington County Times. He was paroled in 2014, but was arrested again while in possession of drugs and guns in 2016.
