Police Officer, NJ Transit Officer Injured While Responding to Call on Route 130: Report
The accident took place Monday night.

A Burlington Police officer and a New Jersey Transit officer were both injured while responding to the scene of an accident on Route 130 Monday night, the Courier Post reports.
The transit officer became trapped after he was hit by another car while responding to an assist call, according to the report. The police officer attempted to help the transit officer, and was also injured during the incident.
They were both taken to a local hospital and expected to survive their injuries.
