Popeyes, Tim Hortons Continue Progress In Cinnaminson
Louisiana chicken and Canadian coffee are on their way to Cinnaminson. Here's the latest update.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Louisiana chicken and Canadian coffee are on their way to Cinnaminson. Popeyes and Tim Hortons — both previously approved to open on Route 130 — both expect to open later this year, township officials said in a recent update.
The businesses both received approval in 2021 for Cinnaminson locations. But development at the former Triboro Motors site has taken some time.
Last summer, Township Administrator Eric Schubiger told Patch that the eateries should open in the spring or summer of 2023. The most recent update, provided in the township's March newsletter, is a bit broader, saying Popeyes and Tim Hortons are "expected to open later this year."

Patch reached out to the media-relations teams of both chains and didn't receive a response.
Nonetheless, the construction of both eateries continues to progress. Timmie's will feature a 2,820-square-foot store with a drive-thru and outdoor seating area. The 3,150-square-foot Popeyes will also contain a drive-thru.

The eateries will bring approximately 50 jobs to Cinnaminson.
Timmie's — based in Toronto and most commonly found in Canada — remains a rarity in New Jersey. The coffee chain and bakery only has three Garden State locations, including Stratford's.
