Raises Approved for Burlington County Prosecutor's Office Detectives, Investigators

The new starting salary for a detective with the Burlington County Prosecutor’s Office will be $56,128, which is over $1,600 more than it was under the previous pay scale, the Burlington County Times reports.

The county freeholders approved an agreement with PBA Local 320 Detectives Association last week to give all detectives raises of 1.5 percent for 2014, 2015 and 2016, and to give detectives eligible for a step increase an increase in wages, effective July 1, according to the report.

The increases are retroactive, and must be renegotiated at the end of the contract cycle, according to the report.

It is the first raise for investigators and detectives with the prosecutor’s office in three years.
