RCBC Students Join Lambda Nu National Honors Society

A total of 15 students from the radiography and sonography programs were inducted on Nov. 15.

Students in Rowan College at Burlington County’s imaging programs are now part of a national honor society for radiologic and imaging sciences, the college announced this week. They were inducted into Lambda Nu on Nov. 15.

The college’s radiography program has the oldest Lambda Nu chapter in the state. For the first time, the students from the radiography program were joined by sonography students as inductees. A total of 15 students were inducted, including seven from the radiography program and eight from the sonography program. Both programs are housed in the college’s new Health Sciences Center.

“The students in the diagnostic medical sonography and radiography programs are dedicated and diligent in their studies,” Rowan College of Burlington County Dean of Health Sciences Dr. Karen Montalto said. “The induction into Lambda Nu is a reflection of their hard work and academic excellence.”
