Recreational Pot Sales In Edgewater Park Hit Last-Minute Snag

A 'municipality technicality' kept the dispensary from opening for recreational marijuana sales on Thursday, nj.com reported.

EDGEWATER PARK, NJ — Recreational pot sales did not start at Curaleaf dispensary in Edgewater Park on Thursday as expected, the township's police department announced on its Facebook page.

The Facebook post did not explain the reason for the delay in recreational sales.

However, a Curaleaf spokesperson told nj.com that a “municipal technicality” caused the delay and that “everything looks good” for opening on Friday.
