Riverside Man Attacks, Threatens Cops During Arrest: Police

He was arrested after police discovered he was wanted on arrest warrants in other jurisdictions.

A wanted man who was arrested on a warrant in Riverside earlier this month assaulted officers and threatened to kill them, police said.

Kevin A. Lynch, 41 of Riverside, was arrested on May 1 when police responded to a disturbance on Bridgeboro Street at about 11:17 p.m. After he provided a fake identity to police, it was discovered that he was listed in NCIC as a wanted person with arrest warrants from other jurisdictions, police said.

During his arrest, police said he repeatedly made threats against officers and attacked one of them while being processed. No officers were injured.
