Rowan College at Burlington County To Discuss Changes To Nursing Program Oct. 26
Prospective students can learn about the college's 3+1 program and its new relationship with Virtua.

Changes to Rowan College at Burlington County’s nursing program will be discussed during an informational seminar on Wednesday, Oct. 26, 5 p.m.-6 p.m. in the Enterprise Center, room 131.
“At Rowan College at Burlington County, students can attain a high-quality nursing degree from Rowan University at a fraction of the cost of a BSN at most four-year institutions,” Rowan College at Burlington County President Paul Drayton said. “This path to a BSN is quite simply one of the most affordable in the country and is a flagship program for our students.”
Nursing jobs are projected to grow 19 percent by 2022, have a median salary of $65,000 and are increasingly requiring a bachelor’s degree like the one provided by the college’s “3+1” path to a bachelor’s of science in nursing.

The college has also expanded its partnership with Virtua, which is the largest placement location for RCBC nursing and radiography students.
“Now is the perfect time to study nursing at RCBC thanks to our close alignment with Virtua, one of the region’s leading healthcare employers and Rowan University, which has created an incredibly affordable path to a BSN,” Rowan College at Burlington County Dean of Health Sciences Dr. Karen Montalto said. “We are also planning to open a new state-of-the-art health sciences center in Mount Laurel next fall and have a number of improvements to our admissions process to discuss with potential students.”
