School Bus Hits Teen In Pennsauken

The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. on Wednesday, according to police.

PENNSAUKEN, NJ — A teenager is recovering after he was hit by a school bus in Pennsauken on Wednesday, according to police.

The crash happened at about 5:30 p.m. in the 1600 block of Bethel Avenue, the Pennsauken Police Department said on its Instagram page.

The school bus driver stopped after the crash but then left before police could arrive, according to police.

The school bus company and school bus driver were identified and were cooperating with the investigation, police said.

Anyone with information about the crash was asked to contact the Pennsauken Police Traffic Division at 856-488-0080, extension 2015.
