Senate President Calls on State for Action on Deficient Bridges
Sweeney made his comments during a recent visit to Centerton Road Bridge, according to philly.com.

State Sen. President Stephen Sweeney (D-3rd) visited Centerton Road Bridge on Friday as part of his tour of deficient bridges throughout the state on Friday, the Burlington County Times reports.
He appeared alongside Assemblyman Troy Singleton (D-7th) and Burlington County Freeholder Director Bruce Gargiano, according to the report.
Sweeney said the State needs to look at the growing problem with the state’s bridges, where about 10 percent of the total are deficient, according to philly.com.

Multiple plans are under consideration, but Sweeney said he doesn’t prefer one plan to another. He did say it was time for Gov. Chris Christie to offer a solution.
