Shelter-In-Place At Burlington Co. School; No Danger To Students: Police

An elementary school took the precaution because of a search for a missing, endangered person, who has been found.

EVESHAM, NJ — A Burlington County school entered shelter-in-place procedures Tuesday. But officials said there's no risk to the school or students.

The Richard L. Rice Elementary School in Marlton sheltered in place because the search for a missing person got close to the school's proximity, according to Evesham police. The missing, "endangered" male has since been found unharmed, the agency said.

Just after 12:30 p.m. Tuesday, Evesham police said the shelter-in-place would get lifted shortly.
