Shot Fired During Assault Outside Cinnaminson Resident's Home: Police

The attack that injured a resident remains under investigation, authorities said.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — A shot was fired as a Cinnaminson resident was assaulted outside his home, police said.

The incident happened at about 10:45 p.m. Tuesday as the resident tried to enter his home on the 100 block of Fairfax Drive, authorities said. A single round was fired from an unknown gun during the assault, according to law enforcement.

The victim sustained minor injuries and was taken to the hospital.

Police said the victim was targeted in an isolated incident, and there is no threat to other residents.

No arrests have been announced, and the matter remains under investigation.
