Staffing shortages have pushed Millville Public Schools​ in south Jersey to adjust their daily school schedule, a report said.

MILLVILLE, NJ — Staffing shortages have pushed Millville Public Schools in south Jersey to adjust their daily school schedule, a report said.

Students will begin dismissing early for the next month at Lakeside Middle School and the two high schools, NJ.com reported.

Millville Superintendent Tony Trongone said there has been a shortage of substitutes who can fill in for sick or COVID-exposed teachers, the report said. Moving to early dismissals will allow the district to better manage resources, NJ.com reported.
