South Jersey Lightbridge Academy Offers $1,200 Tuition Discount On Earth Day
The learning center's Earth Day celebration is Saturday, April 22.

When Philip and Amy Speiser were looking for a daycare facility for their daughters, they were searching for something that met their own values.
They were looking for a quality curriculum, thoughtful use of technology and a nurturing family focused environment.
They were so impressed with Lightbridge Academy, they wanted to become part of what the learning center was doing.

They recently opened Lightbridge Academy at 4518 Church Road in Mount Laurel, and will celebrate Earth Day with free activities on Saturday, April 22, 10 a.m.-2 p.m.
There will be seed planting and bubble themed crafts, samples from Rastelli’s Fresh Food Market and Scotto’s Pizza, tours of the center and technology demonstrations.

The academy will offer a tuition discount of $1,200 to all who enroll to attend at the event.
Features of the center include biometric finger scanned entry, cameras in each of the eight classrooms, a multi-purpose room, a securely fenced outdoor learning environment and a Car Seat Rack for easy storage.
The center employs ParentViewÒ internet monitoring, which allows parents and extended family to stay connected to their children throughout the day.
- Handwriting without Tears, a reading/writing readiness program;
- Singing and Signing Sprouts;
- Spanish Sprouts;
- iPad technology and interactive whiteboards to enhance the educational program by bringing learning to life every day in classrooms and the indoor multipurpose room; and
- An eCommunication app to provide parents with real time classroom updates, pictures and videos of their child’s day.
The school was established in 1997 by Guy and Julia Falzarano, and provides early education and child care to children ages six weeks through pre-K, as well as special programming for children up to 10 years of age including back-up care, school holidays, and summer camp.
It franchised in 2011, and now includes 87 child care centers open or under development throughout Maryland, New Jersey, New York, Pennsylvania and Virginia. The Mount Laurel center is the first in Burlington County.
The Earth Day celebration begins with a ribbon-cutting ceremony and planting of the Growing Tree from 10 a.m.-10:30 a.m.
Those in attendance will include Mount Laurel Deputy Mayor Rich Van Noord, members of the Burlington County Chamber of Commerce, Lightbridge Academy owners and staff, and community leaders from South Jersey businesses who played a role in developing this project such as Provident Bank and Cobra Real Estate Development.
Mr. Earthly Character Greeter will take pictures with children from 10 a.m.-11 a.m.
Author Don Dougherty will lead classroom adventure stories from 11 a.m.-noon. There will also be tours of Mount Laurel police cars and fire trucks during this time.
From noon-2 p.m., children can meet animals from Paws Discovery Farm, participate in a science activity with the Garden State Discovery Museum and participate in an obstacle course from Kid Fit Gym.
