South Jersey Man Fatally Shot Friday Afternoon
Police found Amir Adams suffering from gunshot wounds just before 3 p.m.

A Camden man was fatally shot in the city on Friday afternoon, Camden County Prosecutor Mary Eva Colalillo and Camden County Police Chief Scott Thomson said on Wednesday.
Camden County Police found 27-year-old Amir Adams suffering from gunshot wounds while responding to the 700 block of Walnut Street in reference to multiple 911 calls reporting gunshots in the area at about 2:48 p.m. on Dec. 9.
He was taken to Cooper University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at about 3:51 p.m.

The investigation into the shooting is ongoing. No arrests had been made as of Wednesday.
