South Jersey Man Who Pleaded Guilty To Heroin Charges At Large
James Trout failed to appear for a pre-sentencing interview last month.

James J. Trout, 48, of Williamstown, is wanted by the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s Office for failure to appear in Superior Court, Woodbury on July 28 for a pre-sentence interview on a charge of third-degree heroin distribution. He is 6’0,” 250 pounds, with brown hair and brown eyes. His image is attached to this post.
Police found Trout flushing two bundles of suspected heroin down a toilet during the execution of a search warrant at his house on May 5, 2016, according to the prosecutor’s office.
One bundle had 20 folds and the other had eight. Another 20-fold bundle was found on the floor near the toilet. Narcotics paraphernalia was found in a bedroom, the prosecutor’s office said.

Trout was indicted on charges of possession and distribution of heroin under one-half ounce on Oct. 12, 2016. He pleaded guilty to the distribution charge on July 14, according to the prosecutor’s office.
