The event is a 5K Run / Walk, 1 Mile Fun Run / Walk, and Tots Dash. The event began in 2010, but has grown at a rapid pace since 2013, when it doubled in size from the previous year to 300 participants, according to school officials. In 2014, it grew to 430 participants, and in 2015, that number was up to 525 participants. The school is looking for even more participants this year.
