State Attorney General To Discuss Opioid Crisis In South Jersey

The meeting is July 24, 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. at Rowan College of Gloucester County.

New Jersey Attorney General Gurbir S. Grewal will join public officials, residents, law enforcement officials, municipal leaders and other stakeholders at a July 24 community discussion on the opioid crisis and resources available to fight opioid addiction, officials announced.

The meeting will take place from 6:30 p.m. to 9 p.m. in Room 430 of the Instructional Center on the campus of Rowan College at Gloucester County, 1400 Tanyard Road. It is free and open to the public and news media. Light refreshments will be served.

Other speakers at the meeting will include Gloucester County Prosecutor Charles A. Fiore; Narcotics Prosecutor Kate Mika of the Gloucester County Prosecutor’s office; representatives of the county Health and Human Services Department, providing Narcan information; the Center for Family Services, discussing the recovery coach program and other community partners.
