State Police Find Stained Clothing Belonging to Missing Endangered Man

A missing endangered man whose car was found in Burlington County last week was last seen when he was stopped for a traffic violation in Buena at 9:30 p.m. on Feb. 11, New Jersey State Police said this week.

Police previously said 27-year-old John Kohlbecker was last seen leaving work in Philadelphia on that same day. He was also reportedly seen at a ShopRite in Bridgeton the following day, police previously said.

Police have also recovered stained clothing on the banks of the Mullica River. Numerous items were sent to the State Police laboratory for analysis.

His 1995 White Toyota Camry, with PA registration, JXA5834, was found at the Green Bank State Forest Station in Wharton State Forest, Washington Township, Burlington County on Feb. 14.

He is described as a white man, standing 5’7,” and weighing about 135 pounds, with blonde hair and blue eyes. His image is attached to this post.

This continues to be an active investigation.
