Strong Thunderstorms Expected in Burlington County Tuesday Afternoon
The thunderstorms should arrive by 4:30 p.m.

A line of scattered strong thunderstorms is moving into the area, according to weather.com.
At 3:14 p.m., a line of scattered strong thunderstorms was spotted extending from Somerville to near Cloverhill to Stockton to Lansdale. It is moving east at 20 mph, and is expected to hit Burlington County by 4:30 p.m.
Wind gusts of up to 40 mph and pea size hail are possible with the strongest of the storms. There is also torrential rainfall, which could result in localized flooding.

Rainfall amounts of up to one inch within an hour are possible.
There is also frequent cloud to ground lightning, and lightning can strike within 15 miles of a thunderstorm. Residents are advised to seek safe shelter inside a building or vehicle.
