Students at Delran's Montessori Academy Bake Cookies for Legacy Students
Students in the elementary and middle school programs baked 15 dozen cookies to donate.
Students in the both the elementary and middle school programs at Montessori Academy in Delran, participated in their third community service project of the year on Tuesday, school officials said on Thursday.
In the morning, the middle school students, assisted by their teachers, Ms. Erika Andrade and Mr. Will Fleming, baked delicious sugar cookies in all different holiday shapes.
In the afternoon, elementary students creatively decorated the cookies to be donated to Legacy, formerly the Children’s Home, a residential and school placement for children ages 10-18 years.

The students and teachers made 15 dozen cookies to give to the children and staff of Legacy.
The MANJ Community Service Committee under the direction of Ms. Renita Brady thanked the students and families who helped make this project a success with by donating supplies and volunteering their time.
