Students Sign Final Beam For Rowan College At Burlington County Success Center

The beam will be inserted in the northwest portion of the center, which will open next fall.

Rowan College at Burlington County President Paul Drayton joined Burlington County Freeholder Director Bruce Garganio, Foundation Chair Tony Mahon, Foundation Trustee Dan Caldwell, and several students, faculty and employees to sign the final thel beam of the college’s Student Success Center this week.

The 78,000-square-foot building, set to open in the fall of 2017, will be the centerpiece of the transformed Mount Laurel campus.

“This is an exciting moment in the history of the college,” Drayton said. “The Student Success Center will be a state-of-the-art building made for our students. It will be a one-stop shop for all student services and will serve as a place for students to relax, collaborate and congregate on campus. It is the centerpiece to our transformed campus experience, which will rival those at four-year universities.”

The college is collecting signatures for the four foot beam before placing it in the northwest section of the Student Success Center.
