Taylor's Riverside Offers Pumpkins In Cinnaminson

This family-owned business can be found at the Delaware River.

CINNAMINSON, NJ — Fall is officially upon us, and that means it's time for everything pumpkin. Pumpkin pie, pumpkin spice lattes, pumpkin bread, pumpkin beer. And Jack-o-Lanterns. Can't forget about pumpkins come Halloween. Locally, you can get your pumpkins, and other organic produce, at Taylor's Riverside Homestead Farm.

The family-owned business can be found on Taylor's Lane at the Delaware River in Cinnaminson, and can be reached at 856-829-4992. They are open Monday through Saturday, 9 a.m. to 6 p.m. from June through October.

Joshua Wright purchased this land in 1720, according to the farm's website. Dr. Edward Taylor started the long line of Taylors on this land when he married Sarah Merritt, the daughter of Thomasin (nee Wright) and Jacob Merritt, in the late 1780’s.

Peter and Lily Taylor picked up the family tradition in 2013. Their daughter Abby represents the ninth generation of Taylors to live on the farm, and the 12th generation overall since Wright purchased the land in 1720.
